Water Supply

Palestine is experiencing a severe water crisis caused mainly by the lack of control over the Palestinian water resources. Palestinians consume on average 73 liters of water a day per person, which is well below the World Health Organization's (WHO) recommended daily minimum of 100 liters per capita.

Education

Access to education is difficult for children who live in refugee camps and villages that do not have a school. By age 15, nearly 25% of boys and 7% of girls have dropped out of school.

Job Insecurity

Gaza has one of the highest unemployment rates in the world and more than half of its population lives below the poverty line, the report notes.
